We believe every person can bring their own unique style and personality to become an excellent public speaker. Speaking effectively is a skill that can be learnt and refined.
We pride ourselves in creating a supportive, friendly atmosphere where you/your team can feel comfortable to gain confidence and learn new skills.
Whether it is speaking at events, meetings or delivering presentations we will equip you and your team with the skills to speak out with confidence and clarity.
This in person workshop is ideal for:
- People who are new to public speaking/speaking in groups in their role
- People who find public speaking and/or speaking in groups challenging and wish to gain skills and confidence
- People who wish to upskill their public speaking with a performance and storytelling angle
- People who wish to improve their ability to speak in difficult conversations and respond to questions effectively
We will cover:
- How to reduce nerves and techniques to reduce negative fear responses
- How to prepare an engaging speech and tell a compelling story
- How to use your tone of voice and body language effectively
- How to answer questions and respond to difficult comments
- Space to practice in small groups and gain feedback in a friendly environment
- Space to gain advice
- Extra tips and resources shared after the session

This workshop is run by Fall into Place Theatre, an Arts Charitable Organisation who specialise in arts, confident speaking, wellbeing, storytelling and performance. All our profits go back into our comunity arts groups for marginalised and/or isolated communities.
Workshop is run by:
Sarah Shaw – Over 12 years working as a facilitator and trainer, Degree in Performing Arts, Director of Fall into Place Theatre Arts & Training Charity.
Minoti Parikh – A trainer, facilitator, coach and business owner working across Yorkshire specialising in mental health, team support and effective communication.
