Emily has always had a great love for theatre, and for the performing arts. She feels lucky to have attended drama classes throughout her teens which led to working in Youth Theatre, then later to improv acting and performing in scripted plays.  Emily loves working for Fall into Place because she is passionate about theatre being accessible to all. She believes strongly in the power of play and the joy that can come from being able to act and perform in safe, friendly and accessible spaces.   Emily specialises in working with children, and is a children’s yoga teacher outside of her role with Fall into Place.  Emily is Mental Health First Aid trained and specialises in operations and financial management.

Vanessa

Chair of Trustees for FIP.

I love being part of Fall Into Place because I believe the team has seen what I’ve seen and are passionate about it. That is, the brilliance of theatre and drama to create space for people to connect, reflect, laugh, grow in confidence, challenge themselves, learn to be in different group dynamics and have plenty of fun. It’s great to be part of what they’re doing to help make all this more accessible to people in our area.

Ellen

Trustee for FIP.

I am so happy to be a trustee for Fall into Place. I am very excited to see their work continue to grow and support the creative expression and well-being of local communities. I have a background in play therapy and theatre and believe strongly in the importance and power of this kind of work and I hope to be able to use my experience to help the charity continue to serve these communities.

Ciaran

Trustee for FIP.

I am excited to be a part of Fall Into Place, supporting Sarah and the team in delivering for local communities through the arts. Drama and theatre are so important in building confidence and supporting wellbeing, and it is so important that they are accessible to anyone who wants to become involved.

Aisha

Trustee for FIP.

I have a strong background in broadcasting (primarily BBC), and the arts (including theatre), and today as a freelancer and performer I often engage my creative work with issues like climate, racial, and social justice, women’s issues and human rights. I share FIP’s progressive values and their passion for empowering and connecting all people through creativity, whilst putting fun and wellbeing at the heart of everything they do. As a trustee I hope to bring value from my experience to FIP, and support Sarah’s inspiring vision for this charity’s future.

We also have a fabulous team of freelance facilitators, volunteers and partners who support and empower us to bring creative goodness to the people of Leeds, Bradford and beyond.
