Generation Squad – A night of new stories

Ever wanted to write a story? Ever wanted to create your own song with other people? Ever wanted to act in a friendly group and learn some new acting skills? Well exciting news folks, Generation Squad will be doing all of that!

There will be opportunities to learn how to write creatively, as well as opportunities to try some singing, set building, acting and more! We will finish with a performance sharing some of the creative writing stories made. You can come along to all sessions or pick and choose your favourite.

All are free to attend. We are an intergenerational group and welcome people of all ages from 12 plus.

Seacroft Sociable Folk (In partnership with LS14 Trust and SCOT)

Turning community spirit into community power! Parents in Seacroft we want to hear from you.

This project is about working with a group of parents to explore new ideas to make this community a great place to bring up children.

Have you got an idea of new after school club you want to see or maybe an exercise class for parents…whatever your ideas we want to hear them.

Contact Naomi at for more information and to find out how to get involved.

Creative Carers

Generously funded by Awards for All, National Lottery Community Fund

Our weekly ‘pop along’ drama sessions are the chance to try something new and fun in a friendly setting. There are performance opportunities, but there’s no pressure to perform, you can just come when you can and enjoy the fun!

During the sessions we will:

  • Share stories and learn new drama skills
  • Encourage laughter and boost your mental wellbeing
  • Explore the mindful benefits of doing drama
  • Create short sketches
  • Have a lot of fun!

You don’t need any experience of doing drama and we warmly welcome people of all ages and mobility to join us. Please contact us if you need support with travel or replacement care costs.

It starts in February 2022, but we are running a taster on 7th December (on zoom) 2-3:30pm. To book your place contact Carers Leeds on 0113 246 8338.

Please note this opportunity is for people who are unpaid carers. This includes people who have been recently bereaved, and there is no limit on how many hours or how regularly you care for someone for you to join us.

We would love to hear from you. Please get in touch:
